NCA is extremely excited to introduce Emily Codding as the newest member of our coaching staff.  Emily will be responsible for coaching our top high school team this spring.

Emily is in her first season as Assistant Coach for the Bear Cubs. She graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 2017. Emily dominated at the high school level, averaging a double-double for three straight years as an all-around player at SRHS and helping her team to four consecutive appearances in the California Interscholastic Federation North Coast Section playoffs and four straight top-three finishes in the North Bay League. Emily went to Saint Mary’s College in Moraga to continue her basketball career and earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Analytics in Finance. In her first 3 years at Saint Mary’s, she made 81 appearances and had career highs of 29 points and 14 rebounds before a season-ending knee injury halfway through her junior campaign. Since she only played in five games her senior year, she qualified as a medical redshirt to be able to play a 5th year at Oregon State University. She is continuing her to pursue her Master of Science degree in Data Analysis through Oregon State and will graduate in March 2023. While finishing her degree and coaching for SRJC, Emily is working for Stockham Construction as a Safety Project Engineer.

Emily comes to us with a very impressive resume and we are excited to have her join the NCA family!
